Canon Details	Rin returned from Australia to qualify for the Japanese Olympic team and ended up stuck in Empatheias, a land ruled by emotion and where emotions manifested physical and elemental responses within the environment. While there, he chanced upon a wyvern egg and has raised the creature for two years. He is also dating Haruka and is well adjusted to people from strange worlds, as a result of his time in Empatheias.

15 Second Summary	Rin's true nature is generally an outgoing and encouraging person who is easy to befriend and admire. He's passionate about what matters to him, mainly his friends and swimming, and loves to spread that passion to others. It's easy to become overwhelmed by Rin and sometimes has the affect of making others question whether they're worthy of sharing his ideals. Rin's passion means he's very loud as a rule. He speaks aggressively, but it's usually in good humor. But Rin's passion also has a darker side when Rin's troubled and he can respond explosively and physically if emotionally worked up. Both smart and driven, Rin is incredibly competitive and loves the chance to show off being better at something. When his competitive streak really flares up, though, Rin throws common sense out the window and will compete to his fullest. Part of his competitive nature is also his commitment, making him an avid trainer who jogs every morning and engages in any sports that work out his feet. Swimming is a matter of pride to Rin and his dream is to claim an Olympic medal. He feels he carries the dreams of all his friends with him when he swims because they're the reason he was able to rediscover his joy for it. Rin is mostly a romantic dreamer who never lets anything get in the way of what he wants. He's willing to work for his goals. This means that he often expects the same out of those around him and is constantly pushing others to be their best. Rin is good at seeing the hidden potential in people, even if they are not aware of it, and believing in that potential until it it fully realized. This can make him come across as a bit forceful and pushy, but it comes from a good place.
Abilities & Permissions
Abilities	Rin's main abilities are associated with swimming, including general athleticism. He's also bilingual in Japanese and English, if that counts for anything. Dunamis: While in Empatheias, Rin, like all imports, received a special amulet in the form of a necklace. As long as he is wearing the amulet, his emotions have the ability to affect his surroundings in magical ways if significant (e.g. he can create ice/wind from anger and help plants bloom with joy). If he concentrates especially hard, he can slightly manipulate this magic, but Rin isn't very good at controlling it. Note; this will probably only come up when Rin is expressive STRONG emotions. Same: Rin has a pet wyvern that is about the size of a tiger and still growing a bit. She tends to follow him around when he lets her.
